Alberto Nones graduated with distinction in Piano at the Conservatory of Trento and in Philosophy at the University of Bologna, later earning an MSc from the London School of Economics and a PhD from the University of Trento. He is the author of three monographs, on Verdi, Zandonai and The Doors, as well as many articles. His recordings include Pietro Cimara L’Infinito: Art Songs for Soprano and Piano (2019), Johannes Brahms: The Sonatas for Piano and Violin (2017, with Franco Mezzena), and the highly acclaimed Fryderyk Chopin: The Complete Mazurkas (2CDs, 2016). The founder and president of AEMC, Dr. Nones also works as a broadcaster of radio programmes for the Trento branch of RAI, in addition to being the artistic director of various festivals in Italy.
